Chapter 11: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter eleven, Jason learned that not every gift had to be monetary. Although everything Jason had came from his uncle, he managed to find some qualities and small gifts like his own time. During the month he helped many people throughout the city by doing everything from giving up a parking spot, to baking cookies to help a school bake sale.

Chapter 10: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter ten, Jason learns how to dream. Inspired by his great-uncle's story of Walt Disney, Jason decides to devote his life to helping deprived children. However, Mr. Hamilton reminds Jason to always stick with his dreams.

Chapter 9: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter nine, Jasonearns the gift of laughter. He ran into a blind man on the commuter who, although he was blind, could still laugh at life, and make everyone around him laugh with him.

Chapter 8: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter eight, Jason learns the value of family through a boys' home that his great uncle had set up. He learned quickly that sometimes, family isn't as much relation by blood so much as it is love.

Chapter 7: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter seven, Jason learns about having to deal with real problems. He was supposed to find four people of different age groups to talk to. He found a young girl surviving a horrible cancer, an old man who lost his wife, a middle aged man who lost his job and was trying to make ends meet, and himself. He learned that no matter how bad life gets, you can't let it make you miserable.

Chapter 6: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter six, Jason learns the true meaning of education. Mr. Hamilton and Ms. Haistings travel to South America with Jason while he works at a library funded by his great uncle Red Stevens. At his simple library, people came from miles away to check out books. Jason eventually learned that the key to learning is having the drive to learn.

Chapter 5: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter five, Jason learns about the happiness a long-lasting friendship can bring. Through a lot of thinking, Jason remembered the man that he helped in the previous month with the engine problem. The two began to become good friends and Jason hoped they could be as good friends as Red and Mr. Hamilton were.

Chapter 4:The Ultimate Gift

In chapter four, Jason learns how important money really is, and that it may not be as accesable to some people as it for him.  Jason was reqired to spend $1,500.00 on five people less fortunate than he.  In the end, he spent $1,800.00, which was very generous of him considering it was $300.00 over.

Chapter 3: The Ultimate Gift

In chapter three, Jason learns that you won't get the full pleasurre of wealth if you recieve the money by doing nothing.  Red said that if you work and earn the money, you will get more enjoyment out of having that money.  Jason learned this by working with one of Red's closest friends, Guss Caldwell, on his ranch.

I have only begun reading the book, and I have already started seeing and understanding lessons by Mr. "Red" Stevens to a happy and succesful life.  It will be interesting to see what tasks Jason has in store.
